In a small village in Awka, the Onwuaso family is mourning the loss of their beloved matriarch, Mrs. Grace Akwugo Onwuaso. Known affectionately as SINGAR, Mrs. Onwuaso passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 86. As the family prepares to bid her farewell, they have announced that her burial will take place on March 6.
The family has organized a series of events to honor Mrs. Grace Akwugo Onwuaso. A service of songs will be held on March 5 at 5:00 p.m. at her husband’s residence. The following day, on March 6, a Requiem mass will be conducted at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church in Awka at 10:00 a.m. This will be followed by laying in state at No. 23 Okolobu Street, Umudioka Village, Awka.
