Fidelity Bank Launches Bundles Of Joy Initiative for Children with Special Needs
Fidelity Bank Plc has recently launched the “Bundles of Joy” initiative, a groundbreaking program aimed at supporting children with special needs and their families. This initiative is part of the bank’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and creating supportive spaces for those in need.
Groundbreaking Inauguration in Lekki, Lagos
The inaugural session of the Bundles of Joy program took place over the weekend at a specially dedicated facility in Lekki, Lagos. Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head of Brand and Communications at Fidelity Bank, welcomed participants and highlighted the bank’s dedication to providing meaningful experiences for its customers and communities.
Vision of Inclusive Society
During the event, Dr. Nwagboh shared that the Bundles of Joy initiative was the vision of Fidelity Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe. The program aims to foster an inclusive society by offering support to children with special needs. Children engaged in a variety of educational and entertaining activities to enhance their mobility and social skills, while parents and caregivers participated in tailored workshops to equip them with necessary skills and resources for better care.
Heartfelt Gratitude and Community Support
Parents and caregivers in attendance expressed their gratitude for the program. Joy Daberechi shared, “This is a wonderful program. The sessions have helped me learn more about caring for my daughter, thanks to the resourceful facilitators. I deeply appreciate Fidelity Bank for creating this opportunity, even though I haven’t yet opened an account. I encourage other parents to take advantage of this initiative.” Another participant, Deborah Eromokhodion, added, “It’s been a heartwarming experience and has created a community of support. We’ve had insightful sessions with specialist facilitators on helping our children achieve milestones and goals. Meeting other parents and exchanging tips has been invaluable.”
